✨ Engineering Leadership & Innovation Mindset
I'm Alejandro Duque, a Colombian engineer and startup CTO. I co-founded Andamio, a Mexican fintech giving revolving credit lines to the maestros de obra no bank will lend to — approved in 24 hours, underwritten on commercial references instead of payroll stubs. Before that I co-founded hackü in 2019 and still lead engineering there: 5M+ learning capsules delivered to 300K+ people across 10 countries, for clients like AB InBev, FEMSA, Walmart México and Bancolombia.
My path started inside the Colombian public sector, writing backend for four years while finishing my engineering degree at Universidad EIA, and later at Argentina's Secretaría de Modernización on Mi Argentina — the State's citizen identity platform, today past 20 million registered users. I'm currently also Tech Advisor and fractional CTO at Rintin, which raised US$6.2M led by Cometa to digitise informal commerce in Mexico.
